Located in the centre of UNESCO listed historic Riga Old Town. 1830's renovated building overlooking Doma square (Doma laukums) and Doma church (13th century) - the highest church in Riga.

| Bus: | Autoosta (International central bus station) is next to Old Riga. The station is not modern and watch your wallet. Cash machines and tourist office are there. Its an easy 500 metre walk to the hostel. Ask directions to old town or look for the tallest church, Doma church, and walk that way. Dome hostel faces Dome square. Look for the Double Coffee sign. We are opposite that. |
| Rail: | Centrala stacija (the central train station) has a modern shopping centre and money machines and is next to old riga. Cross the 6 lane main road called 13 janvara iela (13th january street) via city underwalk tunnel systems. Hostel is about 500 metres and or 7 streets away. Ask for directions to Doma square or look for the tallest church, Doma church and walk that way. Dome hostel faces doma square. |
| Airport: | Riga international airport (RIX lidosta) is a modern small airport recently rebuilt. Cash machine and money exchange on arrival level. Distance to city - about 8 km. The bus stop is located on the other side of the airport carpark. Follow the zebra crossing . Bus 22 and 22a runs about every 30 mins and only costs a cheap 0.25 ls. To the city. Travel time about 25 mins. Conductor on bus will give ticket & change. Get off at stockmann department store (5 level building). The hostel is about 400metres and six streets from here. Cross the 6 lane main road called Janvara iela 13 (13th january street). You can cross the road by using the city underpass tunnels. Ask directions to doma square or just look for the tallest church, Doma baznica,which is on Doma square. The taxi rank is on departure level and the red taxi service Awaits. Taxi ride is about 15 mins to city. Cost about 7 lats. Make sure the meter is on. The taxi can not enter riga old town so get the driver to drop you off at the Latvian Occupation museum , walk up Kungu street to Doma church and look for the Double Coffee sign, we are opposite. |

| the place is quite nice. For travellers who like to stay in the center of center it's great, but it's also laud. The owner's english is poor, and she give only 5% discount for members card but she is very nice. | ||

| Per quanto riguarda la posizione è probabilmente il migliore ostello di Riga. Si potrebbe fare di più per quanto riguarda l'organizzazione di eventi o servizi, in ogni caso per trascorrere un week-end è buono, ci tornerei! | ||

| The staff was incredibly friendly and the hostel had a great location, however we were up almost all night due to the noise.
Every time someone uses the front door (which includes every time someone uses the toilets, which are across the hall) a very loud, high pitched beeping noise is emitted. I am assuming this is for some type of security reason, but there must be some other method as it is very disruptive for a place such as a hostel where guests are paying to sleep.
Also, our room was next to the room where the owners stay and this also was the source of much noise. If you have a choice, request another room as you will hear their tv, telephone, and personal conversations until they decide to go to bed. | ||
