Not many people have ever heard of Richterswil but anyone discovering the little town on Lake Zurich will doubtlessly have fond memories of their stay in the youth hostel. The recently converted building is situated right on the lake, in a beautiful extensive park. This former silk factory is a perfect place for sports holidays, conferences and events of all kinds.
Regardless of whether you want to stay just one night or several days, you will find a little holiday paradise at the Horn. Water babies can go swimming, rowing, windsurfing and diving virtually outside the door. You can take a cruise on the boats of Lake Zurich. Lovers of art and culture will make their way to Einsiedeln, an important place of pilgrimage with an impressive Benedictine monastery. Globetrotters will value its proximity to the lively metropolis of Zurich, and yet enjoy the opportunity to relax after an exhausting day in the city.

| The corridors left the impression of having "cells" on the left and right, but there were the rooms. Building is directly next to the railway! | ||

| 1. The directions to your hostel is not clear. You need to add information how to catch the train to Richterswil from the main station. It took half of an hour for us running around to ask a few people at train station.
2. We need to have access to a kettle, so we can make a cup of tea.
3. Food at your restaurant is very expensive. If the price of the food is cheaper, more guests will eat at your restaurant, instead of going to groceries store.
4. The location is great for relaxing.

| This was transit stop for me between London and Florence.
A really wonderful location right on the lake and very very close to the station from Zurich. A beautiful old building in a small quiet town.
I enjoyed a very relaxed stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I hope to go back with lots of time to explore the area. A real treat. | ||
