Danhostel Ribe is a modern eco labeled hostel situated in the centre of Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark, with a view of both the medieval town, Ribe Cathedral and the new Wadden Sea National Park - one of the world’s 10 most important wetlands.

Rooms in the hostel have 2-4 beds (July dorms up to 8 beds). Facilities include self-catering kitchen, many cosy places, Internet access, a sports hall, and a courtyard to talk or relax. Ribe hostel has the official eco-label: The Green Key. We welcome guests from all the world and our helpful personnel have many years of experience and are committed to giving our guests the best advice and guidance. The hostel has no curfew..

We especially commend the staff woman working Aug 6 a.m. who helped us locate the bus taking us to our train. Had she not assisted us, we would have missed the bus. Of our stays in seven hostels in Scandinavia over a one-month period, the Ribe hostel was the best. Thank you.

The location is good, facilities like lounge are good. Bit outdated hostel tho.
