This modern and welcoming hostel is the perfect choice for travellers seeking good company and affordable quality while enjoying all that Reykjavík has to offer. We are situated in the Laugardalur Park, the city´s mains recreation area, and next door to the national football stadium and the biggest geothermal swimming pool in Reykjavík. This fantastic location is conveniently close to the city centre – 10 minutes on the number 14 bus will take you right to the heart of the downtown and the city´s exuberant nightlife.

The hostel´s facilities include internet access and free WIFI in common areas, coffee bar, TV, conference room with projector for power-point presentations and our regular cinema evenings, 3 fully-equipped guest kitchens, lockers and laundry. Rooms in the hostel are 2-6 bedded rooms; all 2- and 4-bedded rooms have ensuite facilities. The reception operates a travel agency offering bus passes, bikes, rental cars and the most exciting daytours, all with a free pick-up service. Check out our recreation program on arrival, called "the Hostel Menu".

We are open 24 hours a day all year round. Check-in is possible any time after 14.00. The FlyBus runs, upon request, between the hostel and Keflavik International Airport to a schedule connecting with every flight.

Our aim is to contribute towards a style of travelling that increases people's knowledge of their environment, concern for nature and respect for the cultural values of cities and towns in all parts of the world. Directions

Bus:	Bus no. 14 takes you to the city centre and Bus centre station in approx. 10 minutes. leaving from in front of the Hostel every 15-30 min.
Parking:	free parking at the hostel
Location:	3 km east of the city centre in Laugardalur Park. 30 minutes walk to Laekjartorg Centre. Laugardalur swimming pools, spa and gym facility, campground, skating hall, the national football stadium, sport facilites, botanic garden, zoo... 150 m.
Airport:	50km: The airport transfer "FlyBus" from Keflavik Int. Airport operates all year daily to Reykjavik (50 min) in connection with all arriving flights. The Flybus brings you all the way to the Hostel upon request. Price one way: 1500 isk. Children up to 11 yrs. free. Children 12-15 yrs. half price. 3km: Reykjavik Domestic Airport (Taxi - 1200 kr)
