I stayed there with my friend 2 nights. When we arrived, it was quite surprising to see a bus of advanced age people in a hostel. Whatever.. Room was clean like sheets, we had a shower and a sink too. WC are out in the corridor. Staff was ok. We didn't use kitchen, but it does exist and i think there is also a pool in the common room. Not very good point was the stale smell of corridors. To sum up, we had a nice stay

The hostel was hospital-worthy clean, but it had a certain institutional feel and the atmospher wasn't particularly jovial. I also feel that the lockout (12:30pm to 5:30pm) was just a little too long, especially if you do your sight seeing during the day and would just like to rest, eat and do some research in the afternoon Otherwise, very clean, very comfortable.

Why is the hostel not open Saturday & Sunday afternoon? How bizar is this!? And why do we have to leave the room at 10.00 in the morning so that cleaning can take place? Party in the evening = sleeping long!!

Good location. Right along the canal and a 7-8 minute walk to the closest Metro (Anatole France). 3 minute walk from Rue Saint Malo which you can take south right into the heart of the city "Centre Ville."

I was pleasantly surprised by this hostel as some can be quite dodgy. The staff was quite nice and the rooms were clean. I was a little worried that nobody would speak English but we managed to understand each other. The breakfast was decent, nothing special but enough to fill you up and it was included (a definite plus). Its not advertised but there is free WiFi in the common areas. I don't think I have any bad things to say really.
