CAMPING MENINA is a very nice camp situated at the mountain river Savinja. Most attractive for families, the people who want a peaceful holiday, those who like the nature and those who like to spend time on different activities like: trekking, hiking, kayaking, rafting, canyoning, paragliding, mountain biking, haveing a massage, enjoying good food & wine, swimming in a lake and river, fishing in a pure mountain river, picking mushrooms, learning to cook…Camp Menina lies quite in the center of Slovenia, that's why it is easy to reach other parts of Slovenia. Camp lies in the Upper Savinja valley near to a viliage Mozirje (5 km). The valley is 35 km long, named after the river Savinja which is welling out in Logarska valley as the highest waterfall in Slovenija. In village of Nazarje the river Savinja joins with the river Dreta. So there are two rivers in one valley, that's why the valley is wider more and open and offers nice long sunny days. A ring of Mountains around the valley are risses from 1000 to 2500 m.a.s. It offeres one or more days of trekking tours, being able to spend the night in the huts. Directly from Camp you can see, or walk to the nice ski-center Golte-1560 m.a.s., reached with a lift. Close to is profesional botanic park “Mozirski Gaj”.
As well as in a river you can go swimming in the lake, which is in the middle of the camp. In the camp there is also a big terrace with a restaurant (troud, grill…, gulasch, ice cupas, domastic food...). By the camp is a new, open air sportscenter with a beachvolley field pitch, a basketball field, a soccer pitch and a playground for the kids. We also offer also babysitting and a TV room. In the morning you can join jogging or aerobics. There is a massage salon at the camp where you can get good hand massages. Of course we have nice and clean toillets!
