Prosen Hostel is set in the heart of the Angus Glens. A brand new footbridge & path leads along the prettiest stretch of the river Prosen to Glenisla, and the Cateran trail, in Perthshire. The Minister’s Path with another new bridge across the South Esk leads to the hotel in Glen Clova. Two Munros, the Mayar & Driesh, link Glenprosen to the Cairngorms plateau.

Where the public road ends at a red telephone kiosk, turn sharp right and follow the road up the hill 200m till you come to the hostel. | Aeroporto: | We are similar distances from Aberdeen & Edinburgh airports. From Aberdeen head for Dundee down the A90, from Edinburgh head for the Forth Road bridge and the A90 northbound. Both roads lead you to Forfar. Here take the signs for Cairngorms National Park and Kirriemuir. At Kirriemuir again follow signs for the National Park and Prosen. You head out on the B955 and turn left off it at Dykehead. After 7 miles you come to Glenprosen Village and signs for the Hostel. |
