Newly opened 18 bed 4 star hostel on the southernmost edge of Cairngorms National Park.

I was on a cycling holiday with some friends and we stayed here for one night (we've had 20+ cyclists here before). It really is one of the best hostels I've stayed in! It was very clean, beds were prepared for us, the shower was lovely, good sized kitchen. A key feature is the wood burning stove- the staff made sure wood was available for this (with the central heating this was not required, but it was a nice touch). Highly recommend to others. Will use again, thanks :)

Cleanliness generally very good but let down by what I suspect were seamen stains on the male shower cubicle wall - not nice!

Hostel response:
Unfortunately it's now far too late for us to check; but I do think it's unlikely. The day before our only guest was a single female, and immediately before that, 2 days of a 60th birthday party. It would be much more helpful to hear these problems when they happen rather than posting a guess that may be incorrect, yet is quite offensive.
