Hostel Details

The hostel is located in picturesque surroundings in Ryfylke (altitude 250 m). This is a good starting point for walks to the famous Pulpit Rock (2 hours). The hostel offers excellent opportunities for walking and fishing. Preikestolhytta is a mountain hostel and from time to time the cellphone- and Internet connection may be down. Location:	Preikestolen Youth Hostel is located 1,5 hour from Stavanger. Ferry transport from Stavanger, some with bus conncection to the youth hostel. If you are driving it is also possible to drive by Lauvik - Oanes.
Rail:	Closest train station is in Stavanger, 15 min walk from the ferry terminal
