We had a wonderful stay! We originally booked two nights at the hostel, but were given a complimentary upgrade to the hotel and it was a lovely room. I would definitely return!

Best location ,around the lake and at the starting point of the pulpit rock excursion. The breakfast buffet is ok ,but the evening menu at the restaurant is overkill:too expensive. You should definitely use the common kitchen if you are staying at the hostel. So bring your own supplies as there is no shop around.

private double room-that was honestly smallest room I had ever seen and should be named a storage room.one shared shower on the floor simply not enough plus additional two showers in other building where you have to put 10kr to have hot water is simply a joke, not even to mention you can't lock the door there. very friendly staff, good breakfast and amazing route to Preikestolen makes you forget all these things though...

Hostel response:
Showers are free for our guests. There are extra showers in the basement of the hostel. There should be no need to use the smaller showers outside. I am sorry you had to pay for the showers. I am happy you found our staff friendly, and that you liked our breakfast!
