Hostelling International Bolivia presents HI-Hotel Jerusalem in the silver town of Potosí - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Close to this historic location, HI-Jerusalem is a new 3-storey building with a colonial reception, very comfortable rooms, all with private facilities. The breakfast room on top offers you a superb view of the city and its famous ‘Cerro Rico’, the rich mountain! Just come and take a picture!

From the Bus-Terminal take a taxi because the 800 m are uphill (US $ 1.20)
With connections to Sucre - Uyuni and Oruro/La Paz.

| Hostel is actually in hotel Jerusalem which is not mentioned anywhere online and there is no HI sign outside, so made it very difficult to find. Particulalry as it says it is 200m from the currency museum which it is not. Anyhow, once found the hotel looks really nice, the rooms were fine. Breakfast was good. It was a good 10mins from the main plaza, but not a bad walk. Although if you would like to stay here it is cheaper to just turn up than book through this website, which we were pretty miffed about. | ||
