Stay at HI’s first Boutique Hostel in Brazil. The combination of a different architectural design, located at an old historical house, following the concept ‘cheap and chic’, provides the Porto Alegre Boutique Hostel with innovation and its own identity, with excellent lodging in all of its rooms. continents. The Hostel incorporate their experiences , with souvenirs, setting the environment of the hostel, not to mention the endless tributes to Porto Alegre, its culture and its characters. There is also a space set for the launching of collections which portray cultural and touristic regions of Rio Grande do Sul. The breakfast room, always filled with local produce, is transformed into a pleasant bar-bistro and café during the afternoon and evening, an ideal place for exchanging experiences with other guests and people from the city. The place is always filled with music and video-clips from regional, national and international artists. Among its many facilities, the Hostel offers guided tour of the neighbourhood in the morning, and in the afternoon around the city centre of Porto Alegre. Such tours are always done in the company of a guide registered in the Ministry of Tourism. The Hostel is located in the Floresta district (545, São Carlos Road, corner with Gaspar Martins), one of the oldest and most traditional districts of Porto Alegre, the so called “Historic Centre”, close to Shopping Total (Shopping Centre), with hundreds of stores, cinemas, bars, restaurants and night clubs. The installation of such a project is the first step for the “revitalization” of this historic area, strategically located between the coach station and Salgado Filho Airport. The Hostel offers private apartments (Suites), and collective apartments, male and female ward with bathrooms in the same floor. Moreover, the Hostel also has air-conditioned rooms, living room, leisure room, flower garden, laundry, and a fully-equipped kitchen available for the guests.

Close to busterminal but except that it is not a nice area. Not a place to be at night. Excellent breakfast, nice rooms and very nice staff.

Ótimo hostel!! Apenas fiquei 1 noite no hostel mas percebi que é um hostel bastante diferenciado aos demais! Limpeza impecável! Quartos e banheiros melhores que muitos hotéis! A staff foi muito prestativa e se mostrou bastante simpática e disposta a ajudar no que fosse necessário! Para não parecer um post fake de apenas elogios, se for para citar um ponto negativo seria o fato do hostel ficar num local de prostituição na cidade. No entanto, no momento que cheguei notei que havia sempre um segurança na frente do hostel, o que demonstra uma preocupação do local para tornar o ambiente mais seguro enquanto essa problema não se soluciona. The location is terrible. Too noisy & unsafe. Hotspot for sex workers. This makes reaching & leaving the hostel between sunset & sunrise highly risky. Avoid this hostel.
