An early Georgian manor house set in landscaped gardens, the hostel offers great views of Cornwall's Mount's Bay and the Lizard Peninsula. Among other attractions, St Michael's Mount and St Ives (home of the Tate St Ives Gallery) are nearby. Rooms have 2-6+ beds and facilities include laundry, kitchen and evening meals.
Penzance YHA dates from 1720, can now accommodate up to 100 guests in 22 bedrooms, most with no more than six beds. One room is fully accessible for wheelchair users and a new welcoming reception has also been created.
The project has breathed new life into the bricks and mortar of this spectacular old manor house.

| I'm very happy that I am staying that lovely youth hostel. The staffs in Penzance are very helpful and nice espcially the Nuula Henderson. She's very professional and care for the backpackers. I love her very much. I can get refreshment. | ||

| wow this hostel has a wow factor plus everything you need for a comfortable stay whether self catering or eating in
penzance itself was a little disappointing but the hostel is in a pretty spot near a vinery/vineyard and is a good base for visiting some of cornwalls most stunning places | ||

| This is the best Youth Hostel in the UK. I love it. Paul and Nuala are attentive, knowledgeable friendly and they go the extra mile to make sure all of the needs of the guests are taken care of. The food was amazing!!
