| it was hard taking down to the basement a large and heavy suitcase down a spiralling staircase! I needed to leave my suitcase in the lockers for a few hours ...also too many lockers were out of order.
having said this, I was allowed to used the staff lift to take my suitcase up (and down) to the fourth floor. Thank You. | ||

| a cleaning woman comes into the room every morning at 1000 yelling for everyone to get out so she can clean. Also we were made to leave every morning at 1000 and the front desk would not let us back into the rooms until after 1400. We were locked out of our rooms every day from 10-2. I even had to wait all this time one day because I forgot my money in the room and was not allowed to go back. | ||

| There are only small lockers for your own lock in the rooms, you can not lock a backpack or suitcase in them, too small. You have to use the pay locker, 2EUR for 24 hours, to store your luggage. Key system means the first person in a room has the key, and must let everyone else inside. Last person who leaves takes the key downstairs, if they remember. | ||

| Well, as some previous comments mentioned, it might not be a good choice to be honest. The hostel is very old so the facility doesn't work well. There's no locker in the room (they have a small cupboard but no lock); WIFI is not free which esp. makes me unhappy; the breakfast might be the poorest I have experienced sorry to say that. Stuffs are friendly, location is quite good, I like their decoration (makes me feel warm, esp. comparing to Europe hostels) - the only three reasons that I don't give "very poor" score. BTW, they don't check membership card. | ||

| I was very happy with the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. They even allowed me to make a local call to arrange a pickup time to collect me. The room was excellent with a shower attached and the lounge area with Internet provided fabulous. The location next to the station is a winner as well. Well done. | ||

| 25 min walk from Gare du Nord. It is in a good neighborhood, close to the Republic Square, but the efficiency was poor. The bedroom was OK, but the bathroom old and not enough for several people. We left the hostel and wanted to use the lockers, but the guy at the reception did not have tokens and had to wait until the manager arrived. Worst hostel of my trip. | ||
