Paraty Hostel is the first and only one Hostel to be accredited by Hostelling International in Paraty. We are located only 2 blocks of the Historical Center and 2 blocks of the bus station (5 minutes by foot).
Paraty Hostel – Casa do Rio is the first and the only one to be accredited by Hostelling International in Paraty. We are located only 2 blocks from the Historical Center and 3 blocks from the bus station (like 5 minutes walking).
With capacity for 90 people, we are dedicated to the tourists around the world that are searching for a clean, nice and friendly place.
We have private (Double) rooms, rooms for family, grou por shared rooms for Who is traveling alone and wants to meet new people, with private bathrooms. All the rooms have comfortable beds and roof fans.
Complete breakfast with breads (salty and sweet), cakes, fruits, cookies, ham, cheese, jellies, butter, coffee, Milk, chocolate, juice and more.
We have 2 houses in the same street called Unit 01 (main house) and Unit 02 (annex). In the Unit 01 are the rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 e 9, a kitchen for community use, internet Access, WIFI, pool and bar. In the Unit 02 are the rooms 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 e 15, a kitchen for community use and a living room with Cable TV. All the guests can use the common areas from the 2 houses.
Paraty Hostel is also na agent of trips. We have counties itineraries and adventures daily programmed: Boat Trip – to paradise beaches and islands (from 10:30 until 16:30 approximately) with daily departures on the deck of the hostel for only R$ 30,00 per person with mask and snorkel included. Every Day we offer a Free Boat Trip on the Perequê-Açú river for who don’t want to do the hole Boat Trip. Jeep Tour – to the waterfalls, old farms with museum from the last century, cachaça destillery, restaurant and rapel for only R$ 60,00 per person. Kayaks, horse riding, canoying, dive class, surf classes and much more.
We also have two options of Bar: One inside the Hostel where we offer Caipirinhas and Cachaça, sweet pies, soft drinks, beer, water, candies, always with background music for all tastes. The other option is a Pub / Restaurant / Bar called Supernova. Just 5 minutes walking from the Hostel with delicious drinks, beer, caipirinhas, good food, good music and special prices for our guests.

Directions
| Bus: | Leaving from São Paulo, you take a bus from Reunidas Company and from Rio, Costa Verde Company to Paraty. Once you're here, go straight to the main street and cross it. Turn on the first street to the left and then walk 2 blocks. There you'll find our Hostel on the riverside. |

| Great friendly atmosphere, guests from all over, good day trips promoted by the hostel. However, when it comes to accommodation, the rooms are very poor in space. I stayed in a 6 bed shared room, and the ensuite bathroom was only 1,2m X 1,8m !! There was no kind of hanger nor shelf nor... nothing to put shampoo, toothpaste on... It was really really small! | ||
