You can not live further south of Öland. Here on the island's southern tip do you live in a world heritage site, a haven for bird watchers and nature lovers. The area is full of historical places and outdoor experiences.

Parts of the hostel was once a junior school for local children. Today you will stay in double rooms or dormitories. The surrounding area offers plenty of walking paths and hiking trails for excursions on foot and by bicycle. There are also two heated outdoor pools. Grönhögen's golf course is one of the best courses are also nearby. The proximity to the lighthouse Long Jan, Ottenby Bird Observatory and Eketorps castle makes the hostel a natural starting point for an exciting vacation on Öland.
