The hostel is at the foot of Mount Otaru, 2km north of the city centre. It makes a good base for hiking and skiiing as well as visiting the canals and shops of the nostalgic old town. Accommodation is mainly in single and twin rooms with air conditioning. Facilities include TV and meals, and cotton kimonos are available on request.
