The Hokusai Museum (1min walk from YH)
Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) was an ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period.. About 40 of those hand paintings, which were completed during his stay in Obuse, as well as two festival floats with his paintings on the ceiling are on permanent exhibition.
Entrance fee: adult 500 yen, high school student and younger 300 yen, group discount 10% off (20 or more) Open 9am-5pm (9:30am-4:30pm during November - March)
