The Youth Hostel " Il Castello" located in the heart of the historic center of Baroque Noto ( Noto Alta ), is at the southernmost tip of Sicily, at 30 Km from Syracuse and only at 5 km from the sea.
Th Youth Hostel has been completely renovated with the most modern seismic criteria and according to the demands of our time. It's the ideal site for young people from all over the world as well as for students who wish to visit the city and its territory during school trips and study visits.
It's the starting point to visit the monumental churches and the 18th century palaces and popular districts of the city, as well as the territory of Noto which offers beautiful landscapes.
It's comfortable and equipped with adequate facilities.

| A pleasantly unusual hostel run by helpful enthusiastic staff. A very
beautiful city with a special atmosphere. Plenty to see and do here.
The bunks are the most comfortable and the views from the windows
are amazing. Great thought has been given in restoring this hostel.
It was pleasure to stay here, my fondest memories - don't miss it! | ||

| Noto is a feast for the eyes and the hostel is quite near the cathedral so the location is good. The staff are very obliging and helped me with the printing of my Ryanair boarding pass. | ||

| Easy going hostel with a great view of Noto. Good breakfast for price and comfortable clean beds. No English, but was not a problem. The receptionist let us use the phone and helped us plan our next location. Great service and hostel all around. | ||
