Nordkapp Vandrerhjem, located in Honningsvåg, welcomes guests that love to experience the forces of nature and beautiful scenery.
Honningsvåg is the northern-most city in the world and one of many service centre for the fisheries the North of Norway. The small city, with only 3,300 inhabitants, offers exquisite natural scenery and the chance to see Europe’s northern most viewpoint at the North Cape Hall, which is located at 71°10’21. In Honningsvåg it is also possible to experience the natural wonders of the midnight sun, polar night, northern light and a solid winter storm. If you visit Honningsvåg the right time of the year!
Nordkapp Vandrerhjem is a very nice and cosy hostel which is open all year. The hostel is equipped with two guest kitchens in addition to the main kitchen, two common rooms with TVs, dining room, new showers, internet connections and parking place.

The hostel is visible from the road. By public transportation: Hurtigruten is calling Honningsvåg by two times a day every day (a northbound and southbound departure). There are also coaches that are driving from or to the surrounding areas. Airports within distance to Nordkapp Vandrerhjem is Honningsvåg Airport Valan (8,5 km) and Alta Airport (205 km). |

| The hostel is beside a fish factory and you always smells fish.
Also there was a dead fish drying in the guest's kitchen. | ||

| The location is too far from the city of Honnigsvag, so we had to take an expensive taxi to reach the hostel with our luggage.
Allthough the price for one night was high, it was good service that we could take coffee, tea and juice for free. And not only a breakfast but also a supper was included. | ||

| It would help guests a lot if there were some signs to where the kitchen is, TV room etc. I had to look at the escape plan drawings to find out where everything was as the reception was closed when I arrived. | ||
