Come and stay at Nice Camélias Hostel and enjoy our peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. Located 500m from the train station and within walking distance of the beach, this French Riviera hostel is centrally located and provides you with beautifully decorated accommodation inspired by the romance of the Riviera.
While you’re here our staff are on hand and eager to help with any questions you may have, and we offer a range of facilities for you to use including a large fully equipped communal kitchen, on-site laundry, small bar, TV room and free Wi-Fi (computers are available for a small charge). Breakfast is also included in the price so you can get a good start to your day.

| All of the staff of Nice Camelias were friendly and helpful with advice about the city. The self-catering kitchen was great and the laundry available made my stay economical and relaxing. Due to these amenities I had less running around and more time to relax at the beach, paint, and shop. I would like to extend a thanks to all the staff. It was my second time staying at the hostel. When I am in Nice I definitely will try to stay there again. | ||

| They have replaced the completely non-functional key-card system with traditional room keys. Unfortunately these don't work either... So leave the doors open and lock your stuff into the lockers or with cable-locks. Hostel response: | ||

| they ask people to leave their room fromm11am to 3pm in order to clean. and the kitchen only open 3-10:30pm. this may be the reason how they maintain cleanness but they didnt state in the web. and they dont offer hairdryer. there is only one outlet in a room. however, if you dont mind the things mentioned above, its not a bad place to stay though. | The hostel itself was lovely and the staff were friendly. My friend and I had the misfortune of sharing a room with a very unfriendly and uncooperative 60-something year old woman. She complained about the "young people" in the hostel, snored unimaginably loudly, kept the heater on maximum at all times (even though she had also stolen the blanket off of my bed). So while, the hostel itself was very nice, the experience was tainted considerably by the dread we felt in sharing a room with this woman. Perhaps you could better inform older guests as to what it means to stay in a youth hostel.
