The hostel is located in New Delhi's tranquil diplomatic enclave and makes a good base from which to visit the parliament buildings of Lutyens, the Red Fort and the Qutub Minar among other sights. There is capacity for 160 guests and facilities include TV, carrom and chess boards, terrace, laundry and meals.

| The hostel was quite far from the airport. Moreover, the cab operators had a tough time in finding it so from accessibility point of view, I would give one star. Another thing was that there was no hot water available. | ||

| The person there in the counter to serve the breakfast is ill mannered.He is not supposed to be there as his such rude activity and loose comments might hamper the image of our country in world. After all it is an international Youth hostel. Some comments he made to customer like-"go to hell" , "I am a IHM student so I will not give you the explanation". So these are not fair . but the other stuffs are fine and friendly. breakfast are not in time | ||

| It is good value, budget accommodation and it is possible to get cheap food and bottled water. It is a safe base to stay and the air conditioning is effective in the rooms which is a real bonus. I stayed here for four days and was a lone traveller so it would have been good if there was any kind of way to meet people and get advice. This is not a youth hostel in the normal sense of the phrase because the staff are so unfriendly and unhelpful. You have to trust people with your room key which is a bit strange but sharing with others is partly what hostelling is about. Location is poor but get an auto to the subway and you'll be fine from there. I felt very safe during my time there and certainly met some interesting characters. Shouldn't call itself a youth hostel because it just isn't but it was good all the same. The security guard was more helpful than the staff. | ||

| You can get accomodation in local hotels that have t.v's in your room and they have a much better breakfast selection for 1,400 for a twin room, much more comfortable beds and w.c. paper. Free daily newspaper. | ||
