Bus:Goreme can be reached by bus from most other cities in South and West Turkey, you may be asked to change buses in Nevsehir for the final part of your journey. Buses from East and North Turkey may drop you in Nevsehir or Avanos. You can phone ShoeString for a free pick up from any bus station in Cappadocia. If you are arriving between about 6pm and 9am please phone before you board your bus.

Everything was fairly good. But I was very unhappy when, on our final morning, I was awoken by a strange man, from a local tour company, in my dorm. He woke me up and the most of the rest of us as he had turned on the light and was saying "Good morning! Are you (name)?" Apparently someone wasn't at the right spot to meet him for a tour - at 4:30am. He left the room and then came in again, again going to individuals sleeping to wake them up to ask their name. I feel that a strange man from a local tour company has no business going into a dorm of sleeping people to wak them at 4:30am. If this is okay with the hostel management, what does it say about safety - when anyone might come in at odd hours?
