Schwartenberg Mountain (789m) is the centre of the area which includes the spa town of Seiffen and the resort of Neuhausen. Seiffen is a famous all over the world as “Toy and Christmas Country” and Neuhausen is characterized by Purschenstein Castle and the nutcracker museum with its “Nutcracker Suite” musical box, the biggest in the world. The area is ideal for winter sports and offers cross-country tracks at Schwartenberg Mountain as well as on the Czech side of the border.
People of 27 years or over pay a surcharge of €3 per night.
Surcharge for single and twin rooms p. p. p. n. (subject to availability): Single: €10 Twin: €4 (doesn’t apply to group guides);
Rebate for children: Up to 2 years free of charge, 3 – 13 years 30% rebate;
Group rebate: For a group of 20 paying customers another one totally free (accommodation, sheets and meals at the YH).
