Nesna Vandrerhjem is located in the centre of Nesna, in the middle of the coast of Helgeland. Nesna is a splendid starting point for an activity holiday. Island hopping by bike is popular and there are many interesting places to visit; the historical island of Dønna, the birthplace of Petter Dass, Herøy and Alstadhaug where the Petter Dass Museum is placed.
The group of 6,000 islands, islets and reefs called Vega, known for its inscription on the world heritage list, is also located in the area.
Nesna Vandrerhjem has 20 rooms, mainly with single beds. The hostel is located in an apartment building with 5 rooms per hallway and a guest kitchen/common room. Toilets and showers are shared, also located in the hallway.
Breakfast is served in the cafeteria at Nesna University College, about 100 meters from the hostel, for the price of NOK 65,-.

| Location: | Nesna is a part of the Arctic Circle area. The small town is located approximately 70 km southwest of Mo I Rana. Hurtigruta has daily port of call to Nesna, and there are daily coaches back and forth to Mo I Rana. The marina has a guest port for private boats. Nesna is also known to be a hub for adventures in archipelago. Please check out timetables for the ferries to the islands of Vikholmen, Handnesøy and Tomma. Hurtigruta has port of call along the Norwegian coast, from Bergen in the south to Kirkenes in the north. The ferry trip between Nesna and Sandnessjøen takes about 30 minutes. There is also a schedule with Hurtigruten between Nesna and Bodø. Travel by car on the state highway, Rv 17 is among the most beautiful roads in Norway. The Rv 17, from Steinkjær to Bodø, runs through Nesna. Often, it can be timesaving to take the ferry between Nesna and Levang. |

| We havend stayed there .
There was no one on the reception when we arived at 16h00.
I asked sombody I saw there and they didn't knew about hihostel.
We went to a room to see sombody ho spoke englisch and saw the
bad state of cleanliness.
So we dicided not to stay there . Sorry not satisfied!!!!!!! | ||
