Jasmine Youth Hostel is situated in Nanjing's University District.
With easy access to public transport and our friendly staff being more than happy to advise and assist you with their local knowledge, we have no doubt that you will find us to be the right choice for your stay in Nanjing!
Our Hostel has been built within the walls of a beautiful early 1900's Chinese Manor which has been renovated to provide a relaxed, spacious environment. Come and chill out in our newly expanded lounge area, unwind after a hard days tourist activities in our beautiful courtyard, watch a DVD from our collection on the 38' screen or maybe have a beer / cocktail and join one of our friendly staff members (or hostel regulars) in a game of foosball or darts while warming up for a night at some of the local bars!
When you are not savouring the local cuisine from the many restaurants and street vendors in the area you should take the time to enjoy some of the tasty selections from our Hostel Kitchen! Come try some authentic homestyle Chinese cooking or some western style sandwiches and omlettes (the perfect cure for homesickness!)

| Bus: | REMIND: We can pick up you for FREE from the bus stop "Wutaishan North Station(五台山北站)" , just give us a call 02583300517. From the Central Bus Station, take bus No.13 to' WuTaiShan North station'(五台山北站). |
| Metro: | Our hostel is 10 minutes walk from 'ZhuJiang Lu' (珠江路)metro station. |
| Parking: | The road outside our hostel has extremely limited parking for cars, however we do offer a secure sheltered area for bikes. |

| Rail: | From the Railway Station, go upstairs from west exit and at the bus line-up just outside the station; take Bus No.13 to 'WuTaiShan North Station'. Our hostel is 20 minutes walk from 'ZhuJiang Lu'(珠江路) metro station. It will cost 16RMB if u by taxi from railway to here. |

| The lounge area and patio are so delightful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I just wish the showers were cleaner and more up to date. | ||

| I was in a single room.
The mattress was very thin and the bed hard.
The separate shower was very hot but sometimes dirty with lots of hairs blocking the drain.
Location about 15 mins walk to metro(Zhujiong Lu) and very near bus stops to widespread tourist attractions eg bus 20 to Purple Gold Mt.Also within easy walking distance to several western restaurants. | ||

| The hostel did not remember my booking which I did 2 months in advance using the hihostels.com homepage!! and there were no more rooms available on that date when I arrived.
I had to stay at a bad Chinese hotel instead and book another hostel from there.
No more Jasmine Hostel in my opinion! | ||

| I was very disgusted with state of the showers in particular. Moldy, cracked tiles in some of the showers, people spitting in the showers (which i know you can not control). Just thought showers were really dirty and had the quickest showers i have had in ages just to get in and out.
The rooms could have been a lot cleaner and well kept. Paint peeling off walls and lots of black marks on walls. A new paint job would have made it look much better.
I must praise staff for going to chemist and getting me some tablets for a case of food poisoning I had. I did really appreciate that as i could not leave the bathroom.
