For all those who dream of having house by the waterside, just like in films - well search no further, we have just what you need. Namur Youth Hostel overlooks the Meuse, as well as being just a short walk from the famous citadel.
When entering the internal courtyard of the hostel, one cannot help but feel in a younger environment: reminiscent for many of their university campus days. This building is without doubt the ideal base to discover the Walloon capital.
In fact, the hostel is actually a former manor house that was a studio for the famous painter Félicien Rops!

| The location is pretty good. It is close to the river and environment is quite comfortable. The staff showed warm feeling to guests and the kitchen service is quite good & valuable. | ||

| The worst thing is the late chek-in time. Highly uncomfortable. There vere also repairing works in the hostel which was not very pleasant. | ||

| We have stayed at this hostel on more than one occasion and have always found it to be a pleasant place to stay. This time, unfortunately, the people sharing our room were less than quiet when they got up at around 6am (for me this was 5am) and disturbed our sleep considerably, but that was the fault of the guests, not the hostel! | ||
