For all those who dream of having house by the waterside, just like in films - well search no further, we have just what you need. Namur Youth Hostel overlooks the Meuse, as well as being just a short walk from the famous citadel.
When entering the internal courtyard of the hostel, one cannot help but feel in a younger environment: reminiscent for many of their university campus days. This building is without doubt the ideal base to discover the Walloon capital.
In fact, the hostel is actually a former manor house that was a studio for the famous painter Félicien Rops!

| A nice Hostel on the banks of the Meuse. Walk to outskirts of the central area is about 20 minutes along riverside path. Nice rooms which have recently been refitted. All facilities clean. Good staff. Breakfast good for the cost and the fact this is a hostel not a 5* hotel. In short, a good place to stay when economy and cleanliness are your major concerns. | ||

| Great, clean place with a shared kitchen. The only problem was that one of the hostel staff stayed in the room I was in and went overboard with the perfume. The stench was so strong that it was the smell that woke me up when she came in around 11pm. I left the place early just because of this. | ||
