Moss is a picturesque city with good trading opportunities and a beautiful restored pedestrian street. The town became a city in 1720, but from 1704 the small city grew rapidly with the company Moss Ironworks, which was built on the northern side of Mossefossen. Today you may visit Konventionsgården, which is the main building at Moss Ironworks. The city also has several art galleries and other happenings throughout the year.

| Great location, friendly, the only negative is a low level of cigarette smoke smell in the hallways. | ||

| It is a nice hostel. It is expensive...but Norway is a very expensive country. If you visit from EUROzone or England it is going to be expensive. It is the best you can get accomodation for the price you pay in Moss. | ||

| Good hostel if you come in or leave with Ryanair. Nice staff and a pretty location. Large double room and comfortable beds. Very easy to find. Near petrol station and supermarket and banks so it is convenient for the start of a trip. | ||
