Hostel "OASIS" is the Paradise in the center of Moscow! What does OASIS mean? It is a place where you can:

- meet a lot of interesting people,
- find new friends,

All staff is multi-lingual and has extensive knowledge of Russia. There is a lof of restourants, cafes, night clubs, theatres, supermarkets. This district is the safest place in Moscow. Unlike other moscow hostels, you get FREE registration during the stay in our hostel. If you change your plans and can't stay at our hostel so you should cancel or change booking yourself or we will take payment for the first night from your credit card.

| Metro: | Metro station: «Chehovskaya»,«Pushkinskaya», «Tverskaya» At first time it would be better for you using metro "Chekhovskaya" (grey line) Inside of metro station will be writen "Vihod v gorod na Strastnoi bulvar"Then from glass doors of metro you should turn on the left , pass some shops and upstairs. Then in the street you should turn on the left and you will see drug store 36.6 and yellow building Euroset between them you can find an arch with advertisement 'Venice'. You should go inside of this arch and pass 3 arches, after arch with advert ОСНОВА you should turn on left again and you can see door with our billboard "OASIS", code 27, 2-nd floor |
| Location: | Our Hostel is located in the cultural center of Moscow. It is a short walk to all the major tourist attractions (Red Square, Kremlin, Pushkin Square etc.) The nearest Metro stations ("Pushkinskaya", "Tverskaya", "Chehovskaya") is 3 minutes away. |

| VERY poor signage on the street and very minimal directions given. The location is great but the hostel was so hard to find. It would be much better if there was a larger sign on the main street plus a physical description of what stores etc. surround the hostel. | ||

| On HI's booking system, I was charged a total of US$26 for the bed I booked (with US$1.30 paid as deposit). But the hostel staff billed me a remainder of 720 rubles (after deducting the 10% deposit). Her billing showed that the total charge for my bed was 800 rubles. I may not be clued in on the exchange rate used, but it didn't seem that the conversion of US$26 should be anywhere close to 800 rubles. Anyway, it was my last day in Moscow and out of courtesy, I paid the remainder of 720 rubles to the hostel.
The small 10-bed dorm I stayed in was extremely hot. It will be appreciated if the hostel can at least provide fans for guests staying during summer. To the credit of the hostel staff, she gave me an insect repellant to plug into the socket. I think it helped a little, but still a fan will be greatly appreciated for circulating the summer heat.
