Customer Reviews Montpellier

| One of the staff members were a bit cold and a bit unfriendly, but that was only one out of the others were quite friendly and helpful for a first-time visitor to Montpellier. I know that the place is currently undergoing renovations a bit at a time, but, I knew that the facilities would not be in the best condition already in advance, so I was prepared with bringing my shower flip-flops, etc. | ||

| This hostel was in a great location and was clean. Unfortunately, one staff was extremely rude and downright mean. I was sick and couldnt make it to the washroom in time to vomit. I was told to not throw up in the garbage can because it would smell. The hostel closes for two hours mid day. I was too sick to move. The lady working at the hostel put me outside like a dog and asked why I didnt find a bus stop to sit in while she went out. | ||

| To operate the showers a button had to be held constantly, which was annoying...and the water was always cold. There was no kitchen facility either, to cook your own food...even a hot plate and kettle would have been great. | ||

| Chambre de 10 lits, tous occupés, pas de drpas pour couvrir le matelas. Gros point noir : les sanitaires qui ne donnaient pas vraiment envie, un ménage plus régulier aurait été un gros plus | ||

| I've been for two days at the International Hostel in Montpellier and did not like. Those staff are moody and do not know how to deal with tourists. I found it absurd to have to leave the hostel from 12PM to 3PM, when I questioned this with a staff he said that France was in all this then I said that was already in hostel in Paris and not work that way so he told me that Paris is a case in part because this is ridiculous ... then Paris follows the pattern of all hostels in the world and the rest of France is not (or just east of Montpellier). Well do not indicate this hostel to anyone! But I've stood in many international hostel network and have always been very good, but this does not in Montpellier!
Sincerely,
Ricardo Nogueira | ||

| It is a basic hostel...they are refurbishing some of the property and having what appeared to be just two working toilets in the whole hostel was a bore.
That said it is just in the best location in Montpellier and is fine for a few nights | ||

| The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, abt 20 minutes from SNCF. However, I find there's always a strange smell in the bathroom and toilets...But overall, very recommended! | ||
