The youth hostel is situated in a romantic area on the banks of Lake Mirow, surrounded by forests and even more lakes. The region is ideal for hiking, cycling and horse riding and the Müritz Havel Waterway is great for paddling. On the other side of the lake you’ll find the “Love Island” on the grounds of the castle.

Opening times (daily/weekly):	By telephone daily 08.00-22.00 hrs; detailed advice concerning booking, programmes and your requirements over the phone Mon-Fri 08.00-16.00 hrs and weekends 08:00-12:00 hrs. Reception 08.00-12.00 & 13.00-22.00 hrs. The main entrance is open 08.00-22.00 hrs.

Directions

Bus:	A19 Berlin-Rostock until exit Röbel, then B198 direction Neustrelitz, after 30km, just before Mirow follow signs to the left leading to the hostel.
Parking:	Free parking for cars and coaches.
Rail:	Mirow railway station – from there 45 min walk towards Röbel up to the north bank of Lake Mirow. Passenger and luggage transfer can be organized by the hostel. Train timetables at Deutsche Bahn - telephone (01805) 19449 or website www.bahn.de. Train information for cyclists provided by ADFC on www.adfc.de/bahn. The Brandenburg Ticket is valid up to Mirow railway station, including the trip from Neustrelitz to Mirow with ODEG railway.
