NOW OPEN!!! Melbourne Central YHA is an exciting new backpackers hostel in Melbourne's vibrant CBD. The hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Australia and one of three HI hostels in Melbourne. The hostel has an energetic backpacker's bar on the ground floor and some very special private rooms with ornate balconies overlooking Flinders Street - now there's a room with a view!

Hostel facilities include a backpacker tour desk for local, interstate travel, compact guest kitchen and lounges with wifi internet access. Guests also receive a free swimming pass.

The hostel also has a high-speed YHAConnect Internet Cafe with WiFi hotspot, Foxtel, flat-screen TVs and electronic door locks.

Summer is approaching in Melbourne which means there are lots of great events and activities to get involved in around the hostel and in the city such as festivals, walking tours, twilight markets and major sporting events.
