In a peaceful, forested setting near the town of Meisdorf, you’ll find the Falkenstein/Harz Hostel, an ideal base for exploring the spacious oak and beech forests of the Selke Valley. Directly from our front door, you can even set out on the "Selketal-Stieg" (Selke Valley Track).
The best-preserved castle of the Harz Region, "Falkenstein Castle", is easily accessible by foot from the hostel. In the area around the town of Meisdorf, you’ll also find many other fascinating historical places here along the "The Romanesque Road."
