| I unfortunately was unable to stay in the hostel. Watch out! It says "Opening times (daily/weekly): 24h" but when I arrived at the hostel around 1am (late train) the gate was locked and no one came out or answered the phone! It was also down a very dark alley, so make sure you don't go alone at night. I eventually took a cab to another hotel in the city center. Much closer to where you want to be!
Also, five separate cab drivers had no idea where it was, find it on a map before you go!

| I liked this place! it was clean and the beds used my myself and my 2 adult sons were comfortable.
The breakfast was a traditional continental one (bread, butter, jam, etc) and was served at 8 am punctually.
The ONLY hassle had nothing to do with the hostel: the internet connection had network connection issues and had nothing to do with the hostel router itself.

| Aziz is a wonderful employee and a credit to your organisation. Because of his friendliness and helpful attitude we always stay here when we come to Morocco. It is also a very clean lovely place with a lovely garden. Value for money and would recommend staying here to everyone. | ||

| We booked & paid for two nights, but moved out the very next morning as I found the beds very uncomfortable. Also it was very cold & there was no hot water. The toilets had a very foul smell and the lighting was poor. We've stayed in youth hostels before, but unfortunately this place lacks basic amenities. Aziz the person in charge was very helpful & did his best to make us comfortable, but the amenities in the hostel are beyond his control. | ||

| Azziz was great! The hostel is kind of like a fortress, though, with doors and locks everywhere. | ||

| Generally I would recommend this hostel but a couple of things bugged me. Hot showers cost an extra 7dh which seems a bit mean. The gate is kept locked and there were times I was rattling it for several minutes before being let in. Also there was a lack of tourist information such as maps and excursions. To be fair I am judging by european standards and this is Morocco. On the plus side it was clean and safe, with a decent location and value for money.
One other point. Before my trip I put the postcode into Google maps and printed off a map. It took me a day to realise the location I had was totally wrong. This made negotiating with taxis somewhat problematic until I realised the error. Please fix it.

| This is very pleasant place I would recomend everybody. The staff is much as friendly and the comfort is on level which you can not find in much marakesh hotels for the few times higer price. The Medina is reachable by taxi and bus in few minutes and even by walk in 25 minutes.Do not hesitate when visit Marakesh..... | ||
