| this hotel is a tandem hotel paired with a more up market one sharing the same address; the same staff, reception and breakfast is shared which makes the value quite good. hostel is in the smaller baroque townhouse bit (on the outside) overlooking street so a bit noisy in the evenings but not irritating. it is a long walk to the hostel rooms, interrupted with steps (those with bags beware). staff especially sergej were extra helpful and switched on. the room was so small one had to go outside to change ones mind however, and a bit pricey given that this is a small city in slovenia. | ||

| It was wonderful. Very good location & excellent value. My only complaint, we had an upstairs room & it was sooooo hot. I think we faced the sun & even with the windows open if was unbearable. | ||
