Magdeburg hostel is located in the state capital and cathedral city of Magdeburg on the river Elbe. It is the region’s cultural centre. The youth hostel is located in the city centre close to the train station and has excellent transport links. One of the HI network of hostels in Germany the hostel offers easy access to attractions such as the cathedral, the monastery, the "Green Citadel", created by the artist Hundertwasser, and the Alte Markt (old market).
Directly in the city center, the hostel Magdeburg is an ideal base for exploring and experiencing Magdeburg, the “city with flair”. The house is on a quiet street and yet allows you to leave the front door and set right out into the downtown district with its sights and shops. All rooms with private shower/bath. Family suites on the “Family Floor“. Some family suites have a connecting door between rooms.

| Bus: | bus terminal next to the central station take the "Willy-Brandt-Platz" exit. From there, it’s only about 5 minutes on foot to the hostel •continue out towards the right-hand side and take the Hasselbachstraße in the direction of the main street ("Otto-von-Guericke-Straße") •cross at the pedestrian light and keep going straight, in the direction of the stairs •our hostel is located just a few steps forward on the right-hand side |
| Parking: | Paid long and short-term parking is available at the hostel (tickets for sale from the automatic machine). The parking spaces are located in a courtyard behind the house (access from the "Max-Josef-Metzger-Straße") |
