The Hostel Santa Lucia in located in center of the city of Mérida, surrounded by colonial builidings, parks and cultural places, three blocks away from the main plaza and the Cathedral. The hostel has a beautiful terrace, living spaces, satelite TV room, kitchen, laundry, and Internet-. It has two dorms, one for women and one mixed, and 2 private rooms. Here you will find a quiet atmosphere and will feel the good vibations from our staff, who will advice you with their suggestions. You will also be able to make new friends whom with you can explore the Mayan Route.

Capital of the state of Yucatan, economic and cultural center of the southeastern. Known as "the white city" for the color of the stone of its buildings the cleanliness of its houses and the perfect outlined streets. At walking distance, you will find museums, parks with mayan motifs, markets, , arts & crafts shops, and typical clothes boutiques, located in traditional buildings along the Montejo avenue. Famous are its regional music and dances, and the unique gastronomy based on sea food and traditional mayan dishes, like “cochinita pibil” and “papatzules”. At night, Merida is fascinating, with its outdoor coffee shops, nice restaurants, serenades, concerts, and discos. Ideal location to take a ride and visit mayan archeological sites such as Uxmal and Chinchen-Itza.
