Hostel Lyon is set in the heart of the city known as the gastronomic capital of France, the hostel is close to Lyon's Renaissance district, between the St Jean Cathedral and the Gallo Roman Museum. There is capacity for 180 guests and facilities include kitchen, laundry and TV.

In order to avoid a stop in traffic, bus shuttles will be going from / to St Just to / from Fourvière, from 5:10 am to 00:05 am. Schedule: Week days - every 7 minutes from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm - every 15 minutes before 7:00 am and after 7:00 pm Saturday - every 15 minutes before 12:00 pm and after 7:00 pm - every 7 mintes after 12:00 pm and before 7:00 pm Sunday and bank holidays - every 15 minutes all day long. | I think it will be better if the staff organise some parties for the people at the hostel, to integrate and exchange experiencies, and if they give more informations about the easy way to reach the hostel (by the furniculaires, and not walking up the mountain, for example). | ||

| Good value in a beautiful, convenient location in historical Vieux lyon, but the staff were rather inflexible about serving alcohol after 12pm and even food (an elder man who could've taken a minute to sell me a sandwich rudely turned me down and told me I'd have to wait until he finishes eating his dinner. | ||

| INCREDIBLE! Absolutely loved it. The free breakfast in the morning was super, too :) The staff are super friendly and will help you with anything you need but the check in can take up to an hour if you come at a busy time. Definitely worth the wait though, such a good hostel! | ||
