| I was stuck with this hostel on the first night cause I had no way to go. It is located is a very slum neighborhood. I booked a single room with toilet Y68. It was not what I expected in your picture. The room is small, no window, squat toilet with a shower in top, dirty. So, I upgraded to a better room for Y95. Nothing close to the picture on the internet. The room is small, facing a busy and noisy street, the paints are creaking off the walls, very dusty and dirty. The worst part is there is no hot shower, and the shower is not working well. They did not do anything about it. I checked out right away in the early morning to Home Inns. The lady staff at the counter is friendly and helpful though.. | ||

| We took the high speed rail to Luoyang and unfortunately our welcome email from the hostel did not indicate that the train station for the HSR was different than the regular train station. As a result, we did not have directions from the HSR station to the hostel and ended up taking a cab which cost about 60 yuan. Our room had mold, peeling paint, and a very hard bed. The air conditioning began pouring water out (filled up half a trash can) in the middle of the night, and we had to shut it off- it was hot. There was a bad sewage smell coming up through the drains. The place is in serious need of a paint job, and the overall vibe is rather depressing. The staff did their best. One of the staff was very helpful with recommendations on the most cost efficient way to get to Vietnam. They moved us to a room with a functional air conditioner. | ||
