This lively hostel is part of a 'Jugendpalast' (Palace of Youth) also housing a radio station, a music school and a press agency for young people. It is situated on the edge of Locarno's gracious old town and makes a good starting point for hiking and biking in the Ticino valleys. Set on the banks of Lake Maggiore, Locarno also makes a good base for watersports.
