Set in a gracious building from 19th century, the Lisbon Centre hostel is located in Lisbon city centre right next to Marques de Pombal and Avenida da Liberdade. The Picoas Metro Station (Yellow Line) is practically on the doorstep! This truely central hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Portugal, and one of four hostels in the Lisbon area. Monuments, museums, churches and nightlife are easily accessible by bus or metro, or even on foot. There are also great stadiums in Lisbon (Sporting and Benfica) where you can attend major football matches and music concerts. When you feel like getting away for the hustle and bustle of Lisbon city life there are sandy beaches only 15km away!
This Lisbon youth hostel accommodates 174 guests in a choice of 13 twin ensuite rooms (one suitable for wheelchair access), 1 double ensuite room and 31 dorms with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. The hostel offers a lively vibrant atmosphere, including a Cafe and Bar, 24 hour access, Internet and Wi-Fi, Laundry and Luggage Storage.

| Can't be helped in dorms but it's a bit of a pain when folks spend an hour at 7am repacking the bags they unpacked late the night before!

| I've stayed in numerous HI hostels and this one BY FAR had the friendliest staff! French, English, Spanish. No matter what language I asked in, they responded with a smile. They helped my friend and I plan our days and our nights and gave us tons of advice. They also helped us figure out public transportation. AMAZING and definitely recommend. | ||

| All service and facility in this hotel is really bad and terrible.
No air conditioning ( very hot, can not breathe ), very noisy, even the customer smoked in the lobby, the staff service and attitude is horrible ( reception and the old server in breakfast meal)
Should improve the quality a lot!
