Lillehammer Hostel is located at the bus- and trainstation in the center of Lillehammer. The shopping street in Lillehammer is the heart of the town, and only 100 m walking distance from the hostel. You will also find the cafes and the restaurants here. Most of the sights like the open air museum Maihaugen, Lillehammer Art Museum, Sigrid Undsets Home Bjerkebæk and the Olympic Museum is within walking distance.

From the station there are buses leaving for the family park Hunderfossen. In the wintertime you will find busses to the skiarea of Hafjell and Nordseter, and to the winter theme park Hunderfossen.

All rooms are equipped with shower, wc, free ADSL wireless internet and TV. Breakfast buffet is included in the price, and you can park your car for free.

Lillehammer has a lot of activities to offer. Hafjell Bike Park offers downhill biking in the alpine area. A gondol will take you to the top of the alpine slopes, and you will ride in one of the 9 trials down to the finnish. If you want a more quiet day, Skibladner - a 150 year old paddle steamer takes you on a trip on Norways largest lake - Mjøsa. The Lillehammer area is also known as a good hiking area, and there are good rivers and small lakes to fish in. Welcome to Lillehammer!
