From the station there are buses leaving for the family park Hunderfossen. In the wintertime you will find busses to the skiarea of Hafjell and Nordseter, and to the winter theme park Hunderfossen.
All rooms are equipped with shower, wc, free ADSL wireless internet and TV. Breakfast buffet is included in the price, and you can park your car for free.
Lillehammer has a lot of activities to offer. Lillehammer Ski Resorts is a cooperation including 5 ski centres. Hafjell Alpine centre is the ski centre situated nearest the hostel. Hafjell is located at the entrance of the Gudbrandsdalen valley, 15 km north of Lillehammer. Hafjell Alpine centre offers winner experiences for skiers of all levels. 16 lifts, including the Gondola, serves the 835 vertical metres from the base to the top of the mountain.
The area offers a wide range of cross country skiing alternatives, including approx. 350 km. of prepared cross-country trails near Lillehammer. The tracks run all the way to Lillehammer, and even connect up with the Olympic tracks at the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium. You can ski in both forested and mountain terrain, and all the trails are clearly sign posted.
Although tobogganing has not yet become an Olympic event, it is one of Lillehammer’s most popular winter activities.
Experience the highlights from Olympic Summer and Winter Games in Northern Europe's only Olympic Museum. Or what about a speed filled adventure on a bobsleigh in the Lillehammer Bobsleigh and Luge Track?
