| Opening times (over the year): | 1st April - 30th September. Groups off-season by arrangement. Open off-season for major festivals, Up-Helly Aa (January), Accordion & Fiddle Festival (October). Also open for the world famous Shetland Folk Festival - which starts on the Thursday and ends on the first Monday in May. Islesburgh Community Centre hosts the Festival Club, which is less than one minute's walk from the hostel. |

| Some cupboard and drawer labels missing in kitchen and a lady should be asked to look at where items are stored to make it more intuitive but that did not spoil my enjoyment. All staff including cleaners really great. | ||
