The hostel is one of the Swedish Tourist Association's oldest hostel and this was once a business with a blanket and a spot in the hayloft for 25 cents. Today you'll stay on the same genuine wooden house, but with all the comforts of a modern tourist could wish for.

The hostel is beautifully located in Spring Hill about a mile outside Leksand.There is space for the whole family .

Leksand and Siljan area attracts every year a stream of visitors, with its beauty and its traditions. Beautiful unspoiled nature and authentic buildings welcome, as well as a rich cultural life with festivals, music and local play throughout the summer season. Music at Lake Siljan and Heavenly Play are two major attractions for those who want to learn about his Dalarna.
