| Wonderful for a family holiday. Lake front, beautiful garden and grape, apple & cherry trees (all you can pluck/eat)and very generous breakfast with delicious ovamaltine to spread on your bread!!
Not much sightseeing in the area. To go to Interlaken, need to take the train. | ||

| Beautiful location and building, and helpful and friendly staff. We just have two suggestions for improvements - the building was very cold even in June, so some form of heating in the rooms would be nice. Secondly tea and coffee cost 3.5o CHF which is very high. it would be nice to have either a kettle easily available or free tea and coffee. | ||

| The location and the history of the place were both very good and interesting. The location 10km from Interlaken made it easy to find and despite haveing a car we went into Interlaken and to Bern for a day by train from the station nearby. Weslept in the old master bedroom in the old single beds with painted bedheads. The view over the lake was special and the staff wer a great help with advice on when to head up to the alps and Wengen. | ||
