Beautifully situated in a farming village between Wakasa and Kyoto, the hostel is in a thatched building close to a forest and makes a good base for enjoying traditional Japanese life. There are just 13 beds and facilities include laundry, bike hire and meals.

| We generally satisfied with the hostel. The host family are very friendly but a bit strict for using the hostel's facilities. They didn't allow us to make use of the hostel kitchen, just boiling water for the following morning. However, we will recommend others to use Kyotofu Miyama YH. | ||
