The bedroom was extremely small and the floor was pretty dirty. The shower war terrible! Ther was an aerator which makes your shower seems to be air showr, not water. The place is not so far from Hauptbahnhof, but when you have your bag it's not very good. And there is no easy bus to get there.

We appreciated having a room for our family of four. It was very nice. Great breakfast.

This is a pretty good hostel. My only real complaint is that the beds are a bit hard. It was also very crowded and noisy (not necessarily criticism toward the hostel--more of an FYI). I appreciated the personal lockers in the rooms. The staff was almost consistently friendly. I really can't comment on the location, as I was only passing through Kiel, so I don't know whether it's close to anything or not. For the most part, good experience here.
