Special Christian pilgrimages (Jesus' first miracle site in Cannae and the three Lebanese saints and our Lady of Lebanon). Muslim pilgrimages (various historical mosques in Beirut...) Summer activities: hiking and discovering Lebanese mountains, mountain-bike, climbing, and abseiling. | When I booked this hostel, from their web page, it sounded really good, and close to the slopes. When I arrived, no one was there. I waited outside for 25 minutes until someone came. Then I was about to find out, that to go to the slopes I needed to go by taxi. I was told, that I could walk up there. That is impossible. The hostel is in a small village in the mountains, so it is very difficult to go by taxi. Because of the location, it was also impossible for me to get something to eat. There were no restaurants or cafes, only on the slopes. Breakfast in the morning was fine. It said, when I booked my room, that it would be a room with own toilet, but I didn't get that, but still payed full price.
Next time I'm not going to stay here. I was told from the locals that I could pay the same closer to the slopes. | ||
