| It would be nice to have working locks in bathroom doors at the very least. | ||

| Small hostel but very well run. The beds were a bit squeaky but the couple running the hostel told us that they have plans to update and improve the rooms and facilities. The kitchen is compact but there is a nice lounge area with a dining table too. We didn't get the chance to try out the cafe next door but another couple who were staying said that it was very good. Handy having the shop next door. | ||

| We arrived and there is NO staff. The girl from the store happened to be still around and showed us to a room. There are NO locks on rooms or on hostel so it is open for anyone to enter anytime. Kitchen is basic, but worked OK. One bathroom for a possible 16 guests is inadequate. There is a basic shower and a toilet downstairs, the only toilet upstairs was in the bathroom. Another 4came in not even a note left for them, they booked in. I found a room for them. no one to pay in the morning until the shop opened. They left the money with another hosteller! This is a good position and has potential but not up the usual standard of hostels. ESP with security. | ||

| It was too packed at the time we stayed at the hostel. Maybe 14 beds are too many for the facilities provided. | ||

| A free used hostel. The staff is in the close shop. If you don't see him you can put the money in an envelop !
Enjoy this simplicity ! Almost alone inside !

| No staff on site. Minute kitchen/diner - already full up with 3 other hostellers in it. Bedrooms not segregated - men and women were having to share. Getting a bed was a free-for-all: a large male Dutch cyclist informed me he had moved my stuff elswhere - don't know why I booked.
On the plus side the beds and bedding looked new and clean, and the location was beautiful. In every other way it was grim. So grim that I didn't stay. I went to a B&B and forfeited my deposit.
