A family hostel with a view right under the Kyffhäuser Monument. In a peaceful setting with a spacious view over the horizon, we can offer you a restful stay in a natural setting. Our large outdoor grounds offer ample opportunties for games, fun, and recreation - but be sure to take a chance to relax and enjoy the delightful view from our large sun terrace.

The resort town of Kelbra is a home base for many guests for excursions into the Kyffhäuser Mountains as well as the Harz Range. The entire region is known for its unique caves, historic castles, and quaint open-air museums.

Directions

Bus:	By Train and Bus (Berga-Kelbra Central Station/ Hauptbahnhof) •from "Berga-Kelbra" Station, it’s a short walk to the "Berga b Roßla" bus stop •from there, take bus line 514 in the direction of "Sangerhausen Busbahnhof" •after about 15 minutes, get out at "Sittendorf" Bahnhof/Station •take the "Hauptstraße" (Main Street) in the direction of "Kyffhäuser-Denkmal" •from here, it’s about 1.5 km on foot to the hostel (look for signs) •larger groups can arrange a bus transfer directly from Berga-Kelbra Station to or from the hostel (€5 per person per trip)
Parking:	Free parking for cars and buses is available in front of our hostel.
Location:	The view from "up here" is stunning and the location enviable. Our hostel is located in the town of Sittendorf.
